How Vehicle Branding Is Completed in Dubai

Every Wecare project follows the same eight-step process — from first consultation to inspected handover — so you always know what happens next.

Quick answer

Vehicle branding in Dubai is completed in eight stages: consultation and vehicle information, photography and measurement, concept and artwork, sign-off and authority approval where needed, vinyl printing and finishing, vehicle inspection and surface preparation, professional installation by certified installers, and a final quality check before handover. Timing depends on your design status, approvals, vehicle size, quantity and installation scheduling.
  1. Step 01

Step 01: Consultation and Vehicle Information

You share vehicle type, make, model, quantity, registration emirate and what the branding needs to achieve. We ask any missing questions early so the quotation and design brief are accurate from the start.

  2. Step 02

Step 02: Vehicle Photography and Measurement

We ask for clear photographs of every side of the vehicle, including doors, rear, roof and any obstacles like antennas, mirrors, side steps and reflectors. For fleets or unusual bodies, our team can measure on-site.

  3. Step 03

Step 03: Branding Concept and Artwork

Our designers develop a branding concept on a template of your exact vehicle model, showing how the design sits across doors, panels, glass and rear. Concept revisions are agreed with you before print.

  4. Step 04

Step 04: Artwork Approval and Documentation

Once you sign off the design, we prepare the artwork and vehicle documentation required for authority approval (for example RTA in Dubai) where applicable. Authority processing time is separate from production.

  5. Step 05

Step 05: Vinyl Printing and Finishing

Approved artwork is printed on vehicle-grade cast wrap film using wide-format print equipment, then laminated with a UV-protective overlaminate suited to UAE conditions. Panels are trimmed and prepared for installation.

  6. Step 06

Step 06: Vehicle Inspection and Surface Preparation

The vehicle is inspected on arrival. The body is thoroughly washed and decontaminated. Old stickers, wax residue and adhesive contamination are removed so the vinyl bonds properly and lasts.

  7. Step 07

Step 07: Professional Vehicle Branding Installation

Certified installers apply the printed panels in a climate-controlled workshop, using heat, squeegees and post-heating on curved areas. Larger fleets can be scheduled for staged installations on your site.

  8. Step 08

Step 08: Quality Inspection and Handover

Every branded vehicle is inspected for edges, seams, alignment and finish before handover. You receive care guidance covering washing, chemicals to avoid and what to do if a panel is damaged in service.

Timing

How Long Does Vehicle Branding Take?

There is no single answer because timing depends on your project. The factors below usually move the schedule the most, and we confirm a working timeline in your quotation.

Design readiness

Print-ready artwork is fastest. Fresh concepts add design and revision rounds.

Approval requirements

Authority approvals (e.g. RTA) add processing time set by the authority.

Vehicle size and coverage

Larger vehicles and full wraps take longer to print, laminate and install.

Quantity

Fleets are scheduled in batches to keep vehicles operational.

Existing sticker removal

Older wraps or stubborn adhesive add preparation time.

Surface condition

Poor paint, dents or contamination need more preparation before installation.

What the Customer Needs to Provide

  • • Vehicle make, model, year and quantity
  • • Registration emirate
  • • Clear photographs of every side of the vehicle
  • • Vector logo files and any brand guideline
  • • Content that must appear on the vehicle (phone, website, licence numbers)
  • • Trade licence and vehicle registration for authority submissions where required

Preparing the Vehicle Before Installation

Deliver the vehicle clean, empty of personal items and free of temporary accessories that need removal. Mention any known issues — old stickers, minor dents, aftermarket parts — in advance so we can plan preparation time and keep the schedule on track.

Caring for the Vehicle After Branding

Wait 48 hours before the first wash so adhesives cure fully. Hand wash or use brush-free automated washes. Avoid high-pressure jets directly on vinyl edges, aggressive solvents, and abrasive brushes. Park in the shade where possible — the same conditions that reduce paint fade also protect printed vinyl.

FAQs

Vehicle Branding Process FAQs

How long does the full vehicle branding process take?
Timing depends on design readiness, approval requirements, vehicle size, coverage, quantity, existing sticker removal, surface condition and installation scheduling. A single-vehicle project with approved artwork moves faster than a multi-vehicle rollout that requires authority approval. We commit to a written schedule for each project.
Do I need to bring the vehicle in for the quote?
No. For most projects, clear photographs of every side of the vehicle plus the make and model are enough. For unusual bodies, large trucks or precision fleet work, our team may measure on-site.
What files do I need to share for design?
A vector logo (AI, EPS, SVG or high-resolution PDF), any brand colour references and the text or messaging you want on the vehicle. If you don't have vector files, we can help recreate the logo before design starts.
Do you handle RTA and authority approvals?
Yes. We prepare the artwork, layout and vehicle documentation required for authority submission (for example RTA in Dubai) and support the approval process. Authority fees are billed at cost and approval timing is set by the authority.
Where does installation happen?
Most vehicles are installed at our Al Quoz workshop in Dubai, where we have a controlled environment for the vinyl. For scheduled fleet rollouts we can arrange on-site installation with the right conditions.
How should I prepare the vehicle before installation?
Bring the vehicle clean, with a full fuel/charge, empty of personal items and free of aftermarket accessories that will need removal. If old stickers are present, mention them in the quote stage so we can plan removal time.
How do I care for the branding after installation?
Wait 48 hours before the first wash so adhesives cure fully. Avoid high-pressure washers directly on edges, aggressive solvents and abrasive brushes. Hand wash or brush-free wash with mild automotive shampoo is best for longevity.
Can branding be removed later?
Yes. Cast wrap films are designed to be removable within their intended service life. Removal time depends on film age, exposure and how well the underlying paint has been maintained. We quote removal separately when required.
